Chris Skyles began his real estate education right here in Austin, Texas. Growing up here in Austin and attending Westlake High School, it was easy to get excited about the way in which Austin was growing. Continuing his education, Chris went on to get his B.S in Economics from Texas A&M University.

After college Chris moved to Houston to accept a job with the Vanguard Commercial Group specializing in tenant representation and brokerage services. It became obvious that real estate was a natural fit for Chris. He quickly rose to the head of his recruiting class building an impressive client list. Having achieved his goals in Houston, Chris set out to get back to his roots in Austin. He briefly accepted a job with The Trammell Crow Company in Austin as an industrial specialist. At this time Chris and Justin decided to strike out on their own and form the SkylesBayne Company.

Since its inception in June 2006, Chris has successfully brokered over $45,000,000 in third party transactions including over 800,000 square feet in lease transactions and $20,000,000 in sales transactions.

Chris is a proud member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO), and the Capital City A&M Club. He has been recognized as a commercial heavy hitter by the Austin Business Journal in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
